SiouxlandJobs Help: Registration- Register on SatJobs as an Employer (post jobs), Jobseeker (search for jobs), or Advertiser (to place a banner and/or link to you website). If you want to do both Post Jobs and Advertise, register as an Employer. Registration for everyone is free. To post job(s) and/or advertise, you would have to buy an available monthly, quarterly or yearly subscription. To register, click “Home” on the top of any page and register for one of the three available options. After registration, you have access to your personal control panel. From the control panel, you would have many options. Any registered Job Seekers can search for jobs and send their resume to potential employers FREE of charge. Only Employers and Advertisers who have paid the subscription fee can post jobs, banners, and/or links to their websites. Here is what you need to do when you register: • Choose a username and password. Your unique username identifies you on the SatJobs site. Your username would not be displayed to anyone else. • Build your Resume OR Company Profile. Providing details as appropriate. You can change your registration information, such as your default email address, from the Control Panel Menu. Subscription for Employers and Advertisers- - How do I subscribe and pay? - What is Control Panel? - What subscription options are there and how much each cost? - What is Featured Employer? - What is Web Link Advertising? - How do I change my subscription? - How do I cancel a subscription? - Do I get unused money, which is in my SatJobs Account- - If I am registered as an Employer, can I buy banner ads and web links? How do I subscribe- If you are new to SatJobs, click “Register” Icon under Employers section and you’ll be guided through the registration process. After successful registration, you will be taken to your Control Panel. If you are currently registered but not yet a subscriber, login and you will be taken to your Control Panel. Once you are at the Control Panel, first thing you would have to do is deposit money into your account. You could deposit as much as you like into your SatJobs account because you will have full control to your SatJobs account. Your SatJobs account becomes your savings account and you would use it to pay for subscription and Advertisements on SatJobs.com site. From the main Control Panel, click on “Your Account” to see this section. “Your Account” section would have the following information: Your SatJobs account balance, subscription type, and account transactions history to date. To deposit money into your account, click on “Deposit Funds” icon. Here you’ll have 2 options to pay. Pay by PayPal using your credit card or send check/money order via Post Mail. If you select to pay by PayPal, your SatJobs account would be credited as soon as PayPal verifies your credit card information. Be sure you select the amount of deposit you would like to make to your SatJobs account. If you select to pay by Post mail, please send your check or money order to the address provided there. As soon as we received your check or money order and funds clear with our Bank, we will credit that amount to your SatJobs account. What is Control Panel- This is a very powerful feature for all registered users. You’ll be able to control your profile, manage subscriptions, etc. Control Panel has two separate sub-control panels, one for “Job Posting” and other for “Advertising”. From “Job Posting” section- you will have full access to your jobs posted, resumes received, post new jobs, search jobs seeker profiles, and bookmark jobseeker profiles. From “Advertising” section- you will have full access to your advertisements. You’ll be able to buy advertisement to be listed under Featured Employer on the Homepage, Buy Banner space, and/or be listed in our Web Link section. (See Control Panel under Help to learn more…) What subscription options are there and how much each cost- Options are as follows:
What is Featured Employer- This feature is designed to give your company extra visibility. Your company Logo will display on the homepage under “Featured Employer”. Job Seeker will be able to click on your company name to read about your company and with one click search all jobs posted by your company. What is Web Link Advertising- This feature is will let people know existence of your site, products, and services by displaying your link and detailed information about your services. We have many categories available under “Search the Web” option from Homepage. Top positions will be given on “first come first serve” bases. If your desired category is not listed, please contact us at support@satjobs.com and we will add the category for you. How do I change my subscription- You can upgrade your subscription any time from your Control Panel. How do I cancel a subscription- One-Way to cancel you account is not to renew your Subscriptions at the end of the billing cycle. This will make your account “inactive” and you can any time pay again and activate your account. If you had selected “recurring billing” when paying for the subscription, your SatJobs account will be automatically deducted at the end of the subscription for renewal and there will be no interference in your services. If you decide to cancel your subscription, cancellation will go into effect at the end of your present billing cycle. No partial refunds can be given. There is no cancellation fee. Your cancellation request will be effective within 3 business days of receipt of your request. SatJobs will send you an email confirmation once your subscription has been cancelled. You will not be liable for any additional subscription fees after your cancellation is effective. To cancel your subscription, go into your control panel and select “Cancel Subscription” option or write to us at support@satjobs.com with Subject heading: Subscription Cancellation. For your security, email must be sent only from the account that is on your SatJobs account; otherwise it will not get processes. Do I get unused money, which is in my SatJobs Account- Yes; any unused balance left in your SatJobs account will be refunded to you. It will be sent to the address on the record at the time. There will be a small $5 check processing and postage fee. If I am registered as an Employer, can I buy banner ads and web links- Yes, once you are registered as an Employer, your “Control Panel” will be setup to access all the available features to SatJobs Site. Job Seekers - After you are registered successfully, logon to your account. You will be directly taken to your Control Panel. Control Panel is divided into 3 sections: 1. Login information 2. Last Jobs Applied 3. Commands Login Information - This will display your Username and your name. Last Jobs Applied -This sections will have all the jobs you have applied/sent your resume for. It shows you the Employer name, Title of the job, and date you applied. Also, it will have “Green check” or “Red x” right next to it. Green check represents that the Job is still active, which means employer is still accepting resumes for the job. Red x represents that employer has closed the job because either job has expired, cancelled, filled, or has enough applicants and do not wish to receive new resumes. You may click on any jobs you have applied for to view the description. When you click on the job you have applied for, you will be taken to the next page with complete job description. If you scroll to the bottom of the page, you will find the options you have available for this job: 1. Application Message - Message you sent to employer when you applied for this job. 2. View all job postings for this company - All other jobs listed by this company. 3. Bookmark/Unmark this job - You can bookmark this job for future review or Unmark it. 4. Control Panel - This will take you back to your main Control Panel. Commands- There are 8 commands available for you: 1. Search jobs - This feature will allow you to search jobs by selecting different criteria. 2. Search by Category - Using this; you can search by the category of your choice. 3. Search Employers - This will allow you to search employer by their name or zip code. 4. Bookmarked jobs - It will show you all the jobs you have bookmarked. 5. Edit my eProfile - This will allow you to make changes to your personal profile. 6. Enable/Disable Job agent - If you have this feature enabled, you will receive email of all newly posted jobs that matches your profile. If it’s disabled, you will not receive any email of newly posted jobs. 7. Useful information - SatJobs will post information on regular basis, which could help you to improve your chances in finding your next job. 8. Job Seekers Logout – Use this button to logoff when you are ready to Logoff the site. Employers/Advertisers - After you are registered successfully, logon to your account. You will be directly taken to your Control Panel. Control Panel is divided into 4 sections: 1. Login information 2. Jobs Posted 3. Your Account details 4. Commands Login Information - This will display your Username, Name, and Company name. Jobs Posted - This section will have all the jobs you have posted with job posted date(s). Also, it will have “Green check” or “Red x” right next to it. Green check represents that the Job is still active and listed on the site. Red x represents that you have deactivated your job. You may click on any posted jobs to view the details. When you click on the job, you will be taken to the next page. If you scroll to the bottom of the page, you will find the options you have available for this job: 1. Applications received - This will show you the applications you have received for this job. To view the applicants’ profile, click on their name. Next page will display the details of the applicant. On the bottom of this display, you will have 4 options: A. Send a message - You can send message to the job seeker directly from here OR send direct email from his/her profile using your own email system. B. Control Panel - Will take you back to Main Control Panel C. General Bookmark - You can bookmark this job seeker for future jobs. D. Bookmark for this job - You can bookmark this job seeker for this job only. Also, you can delete any job seekers applications by placing a check in the checkbox next to their name, and clicking on the X button. 2. Bookmarked Job seekers especially for this job - This will show you all the job seekers your have bookmarked for final review. 3. Status - This will show you the status of your job. It will be either Active or Deactivate. 4. Administrative tasks – You will have 6 options here: A. Deactivate/Activate this job – You can deactivate any job and activate again if needed with 30 days of posting. B. Add Extra information – You can add additional information to any posted job. C. Delete Job – You can delete any of your posted jobs(s). D. Edit my eProfile - You can update your profile anytime using this feature. E. Search eProfile – You can search for profiles of job seekers F. Control Panel – This will take you back to main Control Panel. Your Account details – This section keeps track of your SatJobs account balance and history of your transactions. To view the history of your transactions, click on “See Details” right next to “Your Account Details”. Commands – There are 11 options available under this section: 1. Post jobs – Post a new job on SatJobs. 2. See jobs posted – View all your posted jobs. 3. *Advertising – This will take you to advertising Control Panel. From here you will be able to subscribe to advertising features. You will have full control of all your subscriptions using this feature of the Control Panel. This feature will be discussed in detail under Advertisers. 4. Search eProfiles – Search for profiles of job seekers to fit your needs. 5. Bookmark eProfiles – While searching for job seekers, bookmark them for later review. 6. Edit my eProfile – You can update your profile anytime using this feature. 7. Your Account – Shows details of your account and transaction history. 8. Subscription Status – Show your Job Posting Subscription Status. It will show you when your current subscription expires if you are a subscriber. We have 3 subscriptions options available (Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly). 9. Deposit Funds – Deposit funds to your SatJobs Account. You need to have funds in your SatJobs account before you can buy any subscription to post jobs or buy any advertising. You will have full control over your SatJobs account. You may deposit, as much money you would like and use it as needed to fulfill all your job subscription and advertising needs. 10. Useful information – We will post useful information, which might help you in your business needs. 11. Employer Logout – Logout from SatJobs control panel and SatJobs site. *Advertisers Under Commands, we have an option “Advertising”. If you go into “Advertising’, you will get “Advertising Control Panel”. “Advertising Control Panel” is divided into 6 sections: 1. Login Information 2. Featured in Home page 3. Banners Posted 4. Links posted 5. Your Account 6. Commands Login Information - This will display your Username, Name, and Company name. Featured in Home page – This is for Employers who would like to be featured under “Featured Employer” section on the Homepage. We have 2 options available to subscribe to this feature (Quarterly or Yearly). Please click on “Featured in Home Page” from the Commands Menu on the bottom to see our pricing and placing instructions. Banners Posted – This section will show the details of your banners posted on the site. You can edit the banner information anytime by accessing this feature, enable recurring posting (we will automatically deduct subscription amount from your account and renew the subscription when it expires. This way you will never have to worry about your banner advertising expiration dates. For recurring feature to work, you must have enough funds in your SatJobs account, otherwise we will not be able to renew, even if you have enable recurring feature on), and see stats of your banner advertisement. Under stats, there are 3 sections: 1. Posting expires – Shows when your current subscription expires. 2. Banner hits - Number of times banner appeared on the SatJobs Site. 3. Banner Click – Number of times your banner was clicked. If you don’t have banner posted on the SatJobs site, you might be missing out on this valuable feature. This is the best way to advertise your business in San Antonio area. We have 4 different places available to place your banner on the site. Please click on “Add a Banner” from Commands Menu on the bottom to see our pricing and banner placing instructions. Links posted – This section will display the details of your websites links posted under Search the Web feature on the Homepage. You can edit the information of your posted links by clicking on Link Title under “Links Posted”. If you don’t have a link posted or would like to see the pricing, you can click on “Add a Link” option under Commands Menu. Your Account – This section keeps track of your SatJobs account balance and history of your transactions. To view the history of your transactions, click on “See Details” right next to “Your Account Details”. Commands – There are 8 options available under this section: 1. Add a banner – To subscribe to a banner placement on SatJobs site. 2. Add a link – To have your website link show under our unique feature “Search the Web”, go here and follow the instructions to place the link in the available categories. 3. Job Posting – This will take you to Job Posting Control Panel 4. Edit my eProfile – You can update your profile anytime using this feature. 5. Your Account – Shows details of your account and transaction history. 6. Deposit Funds – Deposit funds to your SatJobs Account. You need to have funds in your SatJobs account before you can buy any subscription to post jobs or buy any advertising. You will have full control over your SatJobs account. Even if you select Recurring for jobs subscription or advertising, you still need to make sure there are enough funds in your SatJobs account. You may deposit funds anytime by using “Deposit Funds” option. 7. Advertiser Logout – Logout from SatJobs control panel and SatJobs site. Search the web is tool for everyone to search for assistance with resume-building information, interviewing techniques, website hosting providers, summer jobs, etc. To search the web, go to homepage of the site and click on desired category under “Search the Web” option. There are 4 options to search for jobs on the site: 1. Search by Category 2. Search by Keyword 3. Search by Employers 4. Search by Featured Employers Search by Category – To search by categories, go to the homepage and click on your desired category. Next page will show all the subcategories and jobs already posted for each category. Click on the subcategory and list of jobs under that will show up. To view the job description, you have to be a member of SatJobs. Search by Keyword – To search by keyword, enter the keyword and click on “Go”. All jobs for your keyword would be displayed. You must be a member of SatJobs to view the job description. Search by Employers – Click on “List of Employers” from the homepage and you will be taken to next page with all the registered employers. Click on the employer name to view their information. There are few other features on the information page like Search for jobs listed by this employer or send them a message. You must be a member to view the employer information. Search by Featured Employers – Click on “List of Featured Employer” to view the list of all Featured employers. You will be taken to next page with all the Featured Employers. Click on the employer name to view their information. There are few other features on the information page like Search for jobs listed by this employer or send them a message. You must be a member to view the Featured Employer information. Featured Employer information - Click on the Featured employer name to view their information and jobs posted by them. You could also send message to them if you have a question or want to be considered for their posted job(s). Logon to your account and you will be taken your Control Panel. From there click on Advertising and then click on “Add a Banner” link. Follow the instructions from there to add your banner. How to add a link to Web Link Section Logon to your account and you will be taken your Control Panel. From there click on Advertising and then click on “Add a link” icon. Follow the instructions from there to add your link. Logon to your account and use search option to search for your desired jobs. After you find the job, scroll down to the bottom of the job description and click on the “Apply for Job” icon. You will be taken to next page to type a cover letter to the employer. After you are done click on “Apply” icon and your resume with the cover letter will be sent to the employer. How to get the Newsletter in Email To receive our newsletter in email, type in your email address and click on “Go” icon. How to get the jobs posted that matches my profile in Email You will automatically get the list of jobs that matches your profile as soon as they are posted. |
